Kindred Bandroom is a 250+ capacity live music venue and bar in Yarraville, and one of the only rooms of its size in Melbourne’s inner west with a regular program of original live music. With more than 18 years in the local scene, it’s a genuine piece of Naarm/Melbourne music history, a proper room for live music with the sound system and atmosphere to match. When there isn’t a show on, it’s also available to hire for functions and events, so the same space that’s hosted some of the country’s best artists can host yours.
Operating as a rehearsal and live music facility for over 18 years, Kindred has hosted some of the world’s best musicians and artists, including: Dan Sultan, The Whitlams, Sampa The Great, Kylie Auldist & The Bamboos, REMI, Nia Archives (UK), C.FRIM, Kaiit, Skin On Skin, Didirri, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Ben Lee, Rose City Band (USA), Cool Out Sun, Facesoul (UK), Selfish Sons, Mick Harvey, No Fixed Address, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Parliament-Funkadelic (USA).
